Pampered Like A Woman By The View by 27pinkx

There are a few ways to celebrate Woman’s Month in South Africa, especially when you’re a woman living in the country, itching for a quick escape from the realities that come with that livelihood. Luckily for me, I was given the opportunity to be pampered like a princess alongside my aunt. We spent the day focused on wholeness, regeneration, and healing courtesy of The View by 27pinkx and the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Growing up with a passion for beauty and wellness, Anjum & Khadija Ahmed’s lifelong journey of finding what beauty products and treatments work for them led them to decide to share that knowledge and service with our community.

Following the success of their first branch in Pretoria, the two sisters were inspired to open their second branch inside The Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton, especially after they saw the location and the views. 

As we made our way through the Raddison towards the spa, I soon saw the very views that had convinced the Ahmed sisters to make the Raddison Blu their second home for their spa.

Nestled on the 10th floor of the Raddison Blu Hotel, the View Spa offers a serene and tranquil getaway, making sure to welcome guests with bright-eyed and affable staff. While there are plenty of spas in and around the Sandton are, there’s something about The View by 27 Pinkx that makes it stand out, and a lot of that can be credited to the staff that they have on hand.

Our treatments for the day included massages, and both my aunt and I knew that we were in the safest and most professional hands, 

“Coming to the spa is a holistic experience.” says the Ahmed sisters, “Our therapists are always on hand to give the best advice to anyone starting their wellness journey.”

The massages were filled with moments of bliss that I was convinced would never end, especially because I could feel the tension being hacked out of my body (which is what I wanted). My aunt and I ended our treatments with some salt therapy and some drinks and fruit while relaxing beside the pool.

Changing rooms that provide both privacy and security for your personal belongings. A swimming pool overlooking the beauty that is Sandton City. A salt room that gives you the chance to detox and unwind. A sauna that lets you sweat and rest. Treatment rooms that serve to ease your muscles as well as your mind.
