Listen, a weekend festival that’s Africa’s answer to Coachella is all fun and games until you realize that you have nowhere to sleep once the party has died down. Well, fret not because our good friends at Hey Neighbour have plans in place to ensure that you’re well-rested (and well-showered) for the next day’s festivities by offering various accommodation options.
Whether you’re looking for glamping options or you’re more of a campfire Barbie, they’ve got it all.
Camping and Glamping With Hey Neighbour
In order to access the festival’s accommodation options, you’ll need a valid 3-day festival pass, as one day camping tickets will not be sold. Then again, who wants to camp or glamp for one night only? Also, not only will parking be included with your camping ticket, but you’ll also get to make new friends as designated braai areas will be set up in the camping area.
Hey Neighbour Accommodation Options
The festival is offering 10 accommodation options, with prices starting from R1400. Single and Weekend Park and Ride vouchers are available from various spots across Jozi and Pretoria including Menlyn Mall, Monte Casino, Eastrand Mall, Melrose Arch, Cresta Shopping Centre, Mall of Africa, The Glen, and Clearwater Mall.
All camping areas will be kitted with clean restroom facilities, 24/7 security, medical aid, and a dope team ready to sort out any concerns during the festival.
Camping and glamping check-in will take place from 14h00 on Thursday 7 December, so you can get in early and get settled and not miss a second of the festival.
1. The Neighbour’s Backyard
This option is for adventurous souls that take self-camping to a whole new level. You can also bring your own tent.
Cost: R 1,400.00 incl VAT – For 4 Nights
Sleeps: Limited to 1 tent and 2 pax per ticket.

2. The Neighbour’s Park
This is camping on wheels for those looking to park their RVs.
Cost: R 1,650.00 incl VAT – For 4 Nights
Sleeps: Limited to 1 vehicle and 2 pax per ticket.

3. The ‘Howdy Neighbour’ Pack
A camping option perfect for the friendly festival-goer who likes to keep it basic and laid-back.
