Robertson Winery Sparkling Wines Bloom with New Floral Packaging

I’m not an alcohol drinker, but I do appreciate brands that work to provide non-alcoholic options. Unfortunately, not all these options are appealing to the taste buds. Thankfully, this can’t be said for Robertson Winery.

In fact, the brand’s Non-Alcoholic Sweet Sparkling Pink is the perfect drink to enjoy during a spring afternoon.

Speaking of the warmer weather, Robertson Winery is celebrating the vibrancy of spring and summer with exquisite new floral packaging on their Sparkling wines range. Each product in the range now showcases roses grown in the Robertson valley, a true celebration of nature’s brilliance.

Robertson Winery Sparkling Wines Shine in Fresh Floral Attire

Turning 80 years old two years ago, Robertson Winery brand wanted to celebrate the milestone. To do so, they decided that the best way to do so would be by being innovative with their packaging.

Now, while innovation in the wine industry usually means a change to the label or paper used, this wasn’t enough for the brand. In fact, they wanted to develop a sleeved bottle, as this would allow for consumers to see the wine.

And so, in 2022, the brand began working on launching a transparent sleeve – a first for the wine industry.

A Rose On A Bottle

Commissioning AdamsRib Design Studio in collaboration with fine artist Riaan Marais, the pair managed to beautifully capture selected varieties of roses indigenous to the Robertson valley, all of which now appear on the three product lines.

Among them, the Sparkling range showcases the exquisite Iceberg and Simplicity rose varieties. The Iceberg rose, is celebrated as one of the country’s favourites with its clusters of snow-white, semi-double blooms. In contrast, the Simplicity varietal charms us with its clear pink blossoms, robust petals, and gracefully simplistic appearance.

To celebrate this floral achievement, and smell some roses, the brand hosted an event at the very green Beechwood Gardens, in Johannesburg, and they even had Mabel Maposa, aka. The Flower Whisperer to host a floral workshop and get us in tune with some beautiful roses.

A Wine Would Smell Just As Sweet

Ankia Niemann, Robertson Winery Marketing Manager shares that Robertson Winery’s remarkable diversity is what sets it apart from other brands. The brand offers an array of delights from sweet to dry sparkling wine, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Thanks to this variety, the brand has been able to not just craft a few roses but an entire bouquet that brings life to any shelf and every occasion with floral delight.

“Robertson Winery’s sparkling range is a delightful reason to stop, smell the roses and celebrate every occasion.”

Ankia Niemann, Robertson Winery Marketing Manager
