Conducted by Corona, a recent Global Nature Survey found that South Africans spend more time in nature than other countries surveyed – including the UK, Canada, Brazil, and China – and, along with Brazil, enjoy their sunset moments more than most. These findings suggest that South Africans have significantly increased their outdoor activities over the past year, proving that the Corona Sunsets weekend is exactly what we’re all looking for.
A revolutionary journey into relaxation and wellness, the Corona Sunsets event is set to take place over the weekend of April 6th and 7th.
A New Kind of Music Festival
On April 6th, the Corona Sunsets Festival World Tour will take place at The Glen Country Club, Clifton, Cape Town. More than just a music festival, this event will encourage festival-goers to embrace nature, revel in the beauty of the sunset, and reconnect with friends and their inner selves through the universal language of music, dance, and shared experiences.
Launched in Cape Town last year, this music festival follows the sunset worldwide and features dynamic, genre-defying DJs and captivating live musicians performing as the sunset takes centre stage at iconic, natural beach destinations across the globe, including South Africa, Brazil, Italy, and China. The lineup includes South African stars the Scorpion Kings, Sun-El Musician and Bongeziwe Mabandla, and international artists Maribou State, Ry X and Nightmares on Wax.
Wellness by The Sunset
At the Lawns in Camps Bay on Sunday, April 7th, Corona Sunsets Unwind will offer a full-day programme of wellness activities. People will experience nature walks, meditation, guided breath work, cold plunges, and even silent discos alongside wellness experts like Nthupula Masipa, Jeanae Dumas, Kerstin de Beer, and many more.
