A year ago, I enjoyed the greatest concert experience of my life as I watched Khalid, Kendrick Lamar and HER take over the Hey Neighbour stage over a 3-day weekend. Reflecting on the event still gives me chills, so imagine my disappointment when the concert took a hiatus this year. Thankfully, it looks like God heard my concert wails because our favourite neighbours are here to oblige. From 29-31 August 2025, the highly anticipated Hey Neighbour returns for Season 2.

The festival’s second offering builds on its immensely successful 2023 debut. A debut that featured trailblazing headliners including South Africa’s own Tyla, Drake’s boogeyman Kendrick Lamar, Swedish House Mafia, Khalid and H.E.R attracting over 60 000 music lovers. The ground-breaking global music and lifestyle festival will once again bring together global communities through an eclectic fusion of music, fashion, and culture.
Produced by Africans, for Africans, yet catering to both a local and international audience, HEY NEIGHBOUR is set to take place in August 2025 at the Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria. This celebration of African creativity and global connection will continue to expand its reach to audiences far and wide, both across the diaspora and internationally. With a unique focus on inclusivity and community, the festival aims to create a space where people from all walks of life—regardless of background or nationality—can come together and celebrate their shared love for music and culture.
