Welcome home, Zandile. Ever since Hey Neighbour announced that it was coming back, South Africa has been waiting to hear which artists will grace the local stage, especially since other festivals were announcing their incredible headliners. Not to be left out of the conversation, Hey Neighbour just announced their headliner, and it’s a homecoming as the remarkable Doja Cat will officially make her way to Legends Adventure Farm on the 31st of August.
A Homecoming With Doja Cat as Hey Neighbour Headliner
Since 2023, Hey Neighbour has cemented itself in the South African festival scene, bringing together music lovers from all walks of life for an immersive experience filled with world-class performances, interactive installations, and an electrifying atmosphere. With Doja Cat as the first confirmed headliner, anticipation for the 2025 edition is continually growing.
Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, Doja Cat is a Grammy-winning singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her genre-defying sound, chart-topping vital hits, and captivating stage presence.
Rising to fame with tracks like Say So, Kiss Me More, Moo!, and, my favourite, Woman, the 29-year-old has solidified her place as an artist and an unbelievable performer. During a time when not many of her peers, outside Doechii, can command such stage presence, we’re all looking forward to seeing her star power up close.
With her electrifying performances and bold artistic vision, Doja Cat continues to push boundaries, making her a must-see headliner at this year’s festival.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Doja Cat to the Hey Neighbour Festival stage. Her energy, creativity, and ability to connect with audiences on a global scale make her the perfect artist to kick off what will be an epic festival lineup. This is just the beginning—we have more incredible acts to reveal soon!” – Glen Netshipise, CEO of Hey Neighbour Festival.
