2025 SA Style Awards Celebrate The Year’s Most Creative Disruptors

What is style to you? Some may see it as a form of self-expression and how effortlessly you display it. For others, it’s curating a Vogue-cover-ready outfit for a light brunch without scrolling Pinterest for hours. The South African Style Awards, however, are all about celebrating individuals who, in their respective career fields, have disrupted the creative process of business. Celebrating its 27th edition, the Style Awards spent the past week announcing the 13 illustrious winners.

2025 SA Style Award Winners

This year’s SA Style Awards winners announcement took place at Zebra Square Automobile – dealers in classic cars, future classics and supercars – located in the prestigious Hyde Park Corner Shopping Centre. The event’s red carpet was also hosted in the centre under the acclaimed artist Willem Boshoff’s skylight sketches, to a dazzling Vanity Fair-styled party on the rooftop deck of the Southern Sun Hyde Park Hotel.

The eclectic mix of wonderfully vibrant winners set the tone for 2025, they consist of trailblazers who each embody the essence of innovation and individuality that the awards celebrate.

A Night of Style

As the evening unfolded in the MOUTAI experiential lounge curated in Zebra Square Automobile, guests enjoyed cocktails, conversation, and shots served by Moutai Miss Etiquettes. The servers were dressed in traditional MIAO clothing, which is an ethnic culture of the region where the Moutai brand is made.

Sumptuous and luxurious gift bags for the guests included an array of beautiful brands from Panier des Sens, Motherkind, Carlton hair, and Sorbet.

In a dazzling twist, a surprise was unveiled—an exclusive golden raffle offering one fortunate attendee a bespoke skin consultation and facial treatment with Dr. Maureen, the esteemed Medical Director from Skin Renewal. Known for her expertise in cutting-edge skincare, Dr. Maureen graced the highly anticipated SA Style Awards Winners Announcement Dinner, adding an extra layer of prestige to the evening.

Hamilton Russell wines flowed with the acclaimed HR Pinot Noir, along with Southern Right wines. The wine farms have been sponsors and supporters of the SA Style Awards for decades.

And The Winners Are…

The fabulously innovative clad winners and a sprinkling of guests journeyed to KōL Izakhaya for dinner, where they concluded an evening that epitomised style and sophistication in every way imaginable.

The fashion pièce de résistance of the evening was nothing short of breathtaking—a couture masterpiece by the renowned Gert Johan Coetzee. A sleek, jet-black tie, the epitome of sophistication, graced the lavishly set table at KōL Izakhaya, commanding attention with its understated yet undeniable allure. Adorning it was Coetzee’s iconic Elephant Mascot, a symbol of strength, wisdom, and refined elegance, meticulously crafted to perfection.

Every detail, from the rich texture of the fabric to the way it subtly caught the ambient light, exuded an air of opulence and exclusivity. It was more than just an accessory—it was a statement, a testament to haute couture at its finest, leaving guests in awe of the artistry and grandeur woven into every stitch.

The dinner and winner’s announcement was a prelude to the much-anticipated and highly acclaimed SA Style Awards ceremony to be held on 25th May 2025, with a nod to the international awards season of style stars gracing the red carpet.
