The Mommy Club S3 Trailer Is Here
A true pop culture phenomenon, The Mommy Club has cemented its status as one of the continent’s biggest reality TV franchises. It’s the most-streamed reality series of 2025 on Showmax and has inspired spin-offs across Africa, including The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice, The Mommy Club: Van Die Hoofstad, The Mommy Club Tanzania, and the upcoming The Mommy Club NBO, launching on Showmax on 30 May 2025.
Now in its third season, the show continues to keep viewers tuned in with all the unfolding drama. From broken friendships to the challenges of parenting teenagers and co-parenting, the mommies gave us everything and more.
The Mommies Are Reunion-Ready
With just three days to go until The Mommy Club reunion, the cast shared their feelings ahead of the showdown.
A Villain Edit?
Hermajesty, who has been accused of bullying (she issued a public apology), has no fears ahead of the reunion, stating, “I’m stepping into this reunion with nothing to hide. It’s time to put everything on the table: the truths, the tension, and every unspoken word. There’s a lot that needs to be unpacked.”
In addition to Her Majesty, other cast members accused of bullying included Pheladi, Mrs Sande and Vuyi. Unsurprisingly, Pheladi chose not to participate in the reunion, surprising the rest of the cast, but not necessarily viewers.
Regardless, both Mrs Sande and Vuyi are ready for the reunion, with Vuyi walking in with clarity and conviction,
“I’m in good spirits, but I’m not here to sugar-coat anything. My goal is to hold myself accountable and expect the same from everyone else. There’s been too much deflecting. It’s time we all own the roles we played in the chaos.”
Mrs Sande, on the other hand, has been seen by viewers as a confessional gangster. Nonetheless, she’s quite excited to sit down with the ladies, “The streets want answers: why was I so spicy? Well, I’m here to give them. This season, I found my voice, and I have no regrets. I’m coming with an open heart and an open mind, but I’m not holding back.”
Fan Favourites
For Mrs J, who has become a fan favourite due to her elegance, both in her fashion and standing up for herself, sees the reunion as an opportunity to address what needs to be addressed fully, “I couldn’t believe some comments made behind my back. As mothers, I hope we can iron out our differences and see if there’s a way forward.”
As for Noskie, who viewers feel experienced unnecessary cruelty on the show (she admits to having suicidal ideations in the trailer), she shares that there’s a calmness in her that she didn’t expect because she knows her truth.
“I’ve been painted a certain way, but now, I’m taking my power back. Some people owe me apologies, and while I’m ready to own my part, I won’t ignore the intentional hurt that was sent my way. I feel stronger, more grounded and ready for anything.”
