Victorious fans line up! SA’s favourite neighbourhood, Hey Neighbour, is going global, and they’re bringing a graduate from “Hollywood Arts” as songwriter & soul-slinging sensation, Leon Thomas is set to join the neighbourhood this August.
Victorious Star Turned Vocal Virtuoso: Leon Thomas To Shut Down Hey Neighbour Stage
Back in August for a next-level two-day event, Hey Neighbour is already making noise not just here but across the continent and beyond.
Already confirmed to shut down the neighbourhood, Doja Cat will now be joined by US singer, songwriter, actor and producer Leon Thomas.
While Nickelodeon fans may first remember Thomas as the smooth-talking and talented André Harris from the show Victorious, which also included vocal powerhouses Liz Gillies, Ariana Grande, and Victoria Justice, he’s come a long way since studying at Hollywood Arts.
Since the show’s finale, he’s evolved into a musical powerhouse, co-writing and producing for many stars, including former co-star Ariana Grande, Drake, and SZA. With his impressive ability to blend smooth R&B vocals with genre-bending beats, Leon is an incredible force in today’s music scene. After all, his second album, Mutt (2024), became his first solo entry on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100, respectively.
A Weekend In The Neighbourhood
While three is better than two, our friends in the neighbourhood are doing something a little different this time. They’ve taken all the magic of the 2023 fest and combined the previously announced three-day fest into two high-impact, high-energy-filled days of music, culture, and, of course, connection. Ideally, we neighbours are encouraging you to groove harder, sing louder and create the best, most authentic memories possible.
Now, you might think that our friends in the neighbourhood have topped themselves with all these headline announcements, but they are definitely not done yet!
