Noksie Khumalo: Showmax’s Fan Favourite and Reunion Champion

After a turbulent and heavily debated season, hosted by TV presenter, actress, and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo, The Mommy Club has been trending on X every Saturday since it first aired on our screens, and the reunion episodes were no different. Noksie Khumalo, who has been at the centre of the biggest feud of the season, quickly becoming a fan favourite, definitely had a better reunion than she had a season.

Noksie Khumalo Dishes All Things Mommy Club

During one of the most highly anticipated Showmax reunions, emotions ran high, nothing was sugarcoated, and every issue viewers had been buzzing about was laid bare. From Pheladi Madungandaba’s absence and Mrs Sande’s rollercoaster of emotional state to the bullying accusations that sparked serious conversations online, the ladies didn’t hold back.

For Noskie, she’s first to admit that her time on the show wasn’t what she had hoped for, but that doesn’t mean that she necessarily regrets the experience.

“I went in thinking I’d be surrounded by empowered, thriving boss babes, women glowing from the inside out. Instead, I found myself among people carrying a lot of hurt and sadness, which was honestly quite disheartening.”

Despite the harrowing experience, Noksie is happy both with what she accomplished thanks to the show’s exposure and the love and support that she’s received from the audience.

“I was nervous about how I’d be received, since I’m not someone who naturally thrives in group settings, but the love and support from the public have been so reassuring…I’m really happy that sellers are now approaching me directly, which has made things easier for my real estate business.”

The Reunion Hot Seat

After such an intense series, it’s no wonder that the reunion would serve to be explosive. From shouting matches and accusations about disrespecting ancestors, to unanswered questions about their children’s true ages and storm outs due to alleged preferential treatments, Ntombee had her hands full.

Now, while there were apologies and attempts to move forward, it’s clear that not all wounds have healed, and where their relationships stand now is anyone’s guess. Since the reunion aired, Noksie has only stayed in touch with Mrs J, describing her as “my girl from day one”.

As for the rest of the ladies?

Even though apologies were exchanged at the reunion, they’re still not people I’d keep close. That said, I genuinely wish them all the best.

Also, why Noksie was on the receiving end of one of the reunion apologies, courtesy of Her Majesty, don’t expect any mommy play dates in the future, “I don’t think that her apology was sincere, but I just wanted to move on and move away.”

It’s been an incredible journey for Noksie, and despite the hurdles, she has no regrets about being herself, going as far as to encourage any future cast members to do the same,

“Being yourself is the most powerful thing you can be. Your tribe will naturally gravitate toward you, and those who aren’t meant for you will fall away, just as they should.”

Both parts 1 and 2 of the reunion are currently streaming, exclusively on Showmax.
