Central Cee Headlines Day 1 at Hey Neighbour – UK Rap Invasion Begins

So if Doja Cat and Leon Thomas are lighting up the neighbourhood on Sunday, who’s warming up the stage for them on Saturday? The answer? One letter: C. CENTRAL CEE, that is. The UK rapper is touching down in the neighbourhood this August and confirmed as the first headliner for DAY ONE of Hey Neighbour.

Central Cee Brings UK Rap To Hey Neighbour

Born Oakley Neil Caesar-Su on June 4, 1998, in Ladbroke Grove, London, Central Cee has rapidly ascended to prominence in the UK rap scene. First tasting fame in 2020 with the viral singles “Day in the Life” and “Loading,” he quickly garnered attention for his distinctive blend of UK drill and melodic rap. His debut mixtape, Wild West (2021), debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and his 2022 hit “Doja” became the most-streamed UK rap song on Spotify at the time.

Additionally, his collaboration with Dave on “Sprinter” in 2023 broke records by holding the UK number one spot for ten consecutive weeks.

This year saw him release his debut studio album, Can’t Rush Greatness, which debuted at number one in the UK and entered the US Billboard 200 at number nine, marking a significant milestone for UK rap on the international stage.

With his unique style and flow, he’s inspiring millions all over the world, and I’m sure his fans are super amped to have him in the neighbourhood.
