Powered by LottoStar, the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival is back. The 12th edition of South Africa’s favourite September festival is set to be headlined by Grammy Award-winning legend Lauryn Hill at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit between 20-21 September 2025.
“It’s incredible to be back at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, and we can’t wait to welcome fans to a weekend that celebrates us all through music and food as we come together during Heritage Month,” -Funeka Peppeta, marketing director of The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival Powered by LottoStar
Lauryn Hill To Miseducate DSTV Delicious Crowd
Around 27 years ago, Lauryn Hill released her debut solo studio album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which went on to completely redefine R&B music, so much so that Apple Music recognised it as the greatest album of all time. With hits like Everything is Everything and Doo Wop, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill officially cemented Lauryn Hill as a musical icon, so much so that it remains her only solo studio album to date.
Considering its influence and cultural relevance, Lauryn Hill embarked on The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour in 2023, and she’s now bringing these sounds to South African shores. However, she won’t be doing it alone as she will be joined by fellow Fugee, Wyclef Jean, alongside special appearances from Ziggy Marley and YG Marley.
Sunday
In addition to the mini-fugees reunion, the Sunday lineup will feature the return of 11-time SAMA Award-winning Afro-soul queen Lira, as well as Afro-jazz superstar Zoë Modiga.
However, what’s a Sunday without some gospel crooning? Enter Joyous Celebration Rewind, which will feature selected alumni, including SABC Crown Gospel Award winner Khaya Mthethwa.
Aside from the main stage, this year’s festival will also feature the Channel O Dance Stage, which promises eclectic entertainment.
With Sunday’s incredible lineup being revealed, the anticipation for Saturday continues to build for both the main stage and the Channel O Dance Stage roster.
A Delicious Sunday
Despite the festival lineup, there’s more to DSTV Delicious than just the music, as festival-goers will also be able to enjoy a vibrant selection of local food, art, and fashion that celebrates South Africa’s rich cultural heritage.
