After a decade away from both the booth and the stage, Jill Scott is set to embark on a new world tour as part of her 2026 album, “To Whom This May Concern”, which will conclude in South Africa this November.
Jill Scott: Still Soulful, A Decade Later
The tour supports Scott’s upcoming studio album, her first full-length project in over 10 years. While the singer has remained active through live shows, acting projects, and collaborations, the new album signals a fresh creative chapter.
After rising to prominence in 2000 with her debut album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1, the Grammy winner officially established herself as one of the defining voices of the neo-soul movement alongside greats like the late Angie Stone and D’Angelo.
While her last full-length project was released in 2006, she remains one of R&B’s most respected performers, with her latest offering, “To Whom This May Concern”, debuting at the No. 4 spot on Top R&B Albums and No.10 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Her artistry earned her a Grammy Award and multiple nominations, cementing her status as one of R&B’s most respected performers.
South Africa To Enjoy Grande Scott Finale
Scott’s new tour, which commences on 04 June in Nashville, Tennessee, supports her new studio album, and her show in South Africa isn’t only her first since 2024, when she performed at the DStv Delicious Festival, but it will also be the last stop on her tour.
