BIG DAY OUT Unveils Phase 1 of Lineup
Last month, legendary DJ Oskido unveiled his exciting new endeavour, BIG DAY OUT — a spectacular celebration of South Africa’s vibrant music scene over the past 3 decades. With BIG DAY OUT set to rekindle the golden era of kwaito by showcasing performances by a stellar lineup of legendary artists, Oskido has now confirmed the first phase of an electrifying lineup. This lineup is sure to take us on a nostalgic journey through the heart of our musical heritage.
Phase one of the lineup is already bursting with the presence of kwaito royalty with the likes of Zola, Mdu, Trompies, Boomshaka, Professor, and Thebe set to take the stage. These legends shaped our youth and continue to inspire new generations with their unforgettable music.
But wait, there’s more. BIG DAY OUT is also welcoming the pioneers of South African dance music to the stage. Expect to get down to the sounds of Christos, Ganyani, Vinny Da Vinci, Greg Maloka and Glen Lewis, along with the superstar DJ Zinhle. Together, they’ll take us back to where it all began, a time that still resonates deeply within the South African audience.
