If there’s one artist that I feel is grossly underrated, then it’s definitely Tamia.
The songstress comes from the same class as Monica and Brandy, but for some reason, I’ve always felt that she got lost in the shuffle. Nonetheless, she’s always been one of my favourite RnB crooners and her debut album Tamia (1999) continues to go double-platinum in my house. Suffice to say, I was beyond ecstatic to hear that she was going to be coming to South Africa.

Granted, she’s come to South Africa before (three times to be exact), but I wasn’t there so those concerts don’t count.
The 47-year-old Grammy nominee has multiple hits to her name, including So Into You, Stranger in My House and Who Do You Tell, and you can guarantee that I will be belting out every song she belts.
