The South African Spring season remains the official festival and concert season in the country, and in honour of this, Rocking the Daisies has officially announced British singer and songwriter Jorja Smith as one of their headline acts for their upcoming show this October.
Jorja Smith To Headline Rocking The Daisies 2026
Despite the divided reaction to the news of her headlining RTD 2026, Jorja Smith remains an artist who perfectly aligns with the Rocking The Daisies brand. Thanks to her soulful voice and emotionally rich songwriting, Smith first gained widespread attention with her 2016 debut EP Project 11, which was followed by her debut album Lost & Found, which features incredible songs like ‘Lost and Found’ and ‘Teenage Fantasy‘.
With other tracks like ‘Addicted’, ‘Home’, and ‘Burn’, all of which are featured on her critically acclaimed third EP Be Right Back, Smith’s sound can be described as soulful RnB that’s both timeless and current. With her heartfelt lyrics and beautiful stage presence, at just 28 years old, Jorja Smith has grown into a defining voice of British soul and is a great choice as headliner for this year’s festival.

Entering its 21st year, Rocking The Daisies has unleashed a WELCOME TO THE GARDEN theme that will feature three days of world-class music stages, curated food villages, immersive art installations, and fun activations.
