It’s clear that Kehlani simply can’t get enough of South Africa. Right in time for the festive season, the two-time Grammy Award-winning R&B powerhouse vocalist is not only returning to Joburg, but she’s also ending her KEHLANI WORLD TOUR right here in Gauteng.
Kehlani’s December Return
This will be the second time that the singer-songwriter has performed in Johannesburg, doing so at the now-closed SUMO Nightclub for an after-party of the Cape Town-based festival, Rocking The Daisies.
Having risen to fame as the lead singer of the group PopLyfe on America’s Got Talent, the sultry singer is praised for effortlessly blending smooth neo-soul and R&B with energetic dance-pop, creating hits like ‘Honey’, ‘Nights Like This’ and, my personal favourite, ‘Distractions’.
Looking to share the part, the silky-smooth singer is bringing a special guest with her. Destin Conrad is a teen social media star turned Grammy-nominated R&B and pop singer-songwriter, with songs that include ‘SAME MISTAKE‘ and ‘BAD BITCHES’ featuring Kehlani.
